“It was such a great day and we have had wonderful feedback from staff and students. It was so lovely to have you launch the library with us and I’m sure will be a great memory for the little ones for a long time.”

– Librarian, Wheatfield Primary School

Let’s get children excited about reading, writing and books!

I am available for school visits, library sessions, festivals and other events. I have a range of options available, depending on the age and interest of your audience. These can be tailored to suit your needs or can be combined as required. Please just get in touch and we can discuss!

“It was lovely to see the learners so engaged with the workshops. They gained a thorough understanding of how to write a story using a simple process and were enthusiastic to start writing their own stories immediately after.”

“Laura has been to our school twice now! Once was during Book Week, when the pupils enjoyed learning about the process of making a book and were inspired to create their own stories and illustrations afterwards. For the second visit, Laura tailored her talk to suit the Sleep topic we were studying. We felt the pupils’ learning was enhanced by each visit.”

– Reception Teacher, Evenlode Primary School
